I served with Jim as a 45k in S. Korea in 1990. The best room mate, squad brother, and friend I had there. His honor, integrity, and mutual respect as well as all the things everyone else has mentioned are my fondest memories of him.
We literally did everything together and always had each other’s backs.
I somehow lost contact many years ago and always regretted it because I could never find him on the internet until today. I’ll cry for days now, deep sympathy for all who knew him, knowing he cared for you is enough for me to automatically love you all.

Jim and I met when he was training at SCIF. We talked a lot and became fast friends. I offered him a room and he accepted. We had a great friendship and I will remember him fondly. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.

Jim was a cousin but more like a brother. We had so many memories from our childhood up. Jim had such a sense of humor and one-liners like no other. I'm sure that many if not all who knew him, would agree. Sending thoughts and prayers for the family. You will be greatly missed Jim. Rest in peace!
