Phyllis Eva Deebel, 78, of Souderton, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Grand View Hospital in West Rockhill Township.
Born in Northern Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Lee R. and Eva D. (Sherman) Maurer.
She was retired, having been employed in production at Merck & Co. in North Wales, PA, for 30 years.
Phyliss was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Telford. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, but most importantly, spending time with her beloved husband, Walter Deebel , with whom she celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary together in August.
In addition to her husband Walter, she is survived by a sister, Fay Recla and her husband Joseph of Shepton, and by two brothers: John Maurer of Ringtown, and Lee Maurer of Nuremburg, as well as her nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday, March 11th, 2021, from 10-10:45 AM at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home. Phyllis will be laid to rest following graveside services at the Old White Church Cemetery at 11 AM. Her Pastor, Rev. David Lutcher will officiate the service.
