Lenore A. Tarlecky

Lenore A. Tarlecky, age 69, of Shenandoah, passed away on July 13, 2023. She was born on December 17, 1953, in Brandonville, a daughter of the late John and Alberta (Fritz) Hoinski.

Lenore graduated from West Hazleton High School and the Pottsville School of Nursing. She devoted her career to caring for others, working as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the local health care community.

Outside of her work, Lenore found joy in simple pleasures. She enjoyed watching TV and spending time with her beloved pets, both cats and dogs.

Lenore attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Brandonville.

In addition to her parents, Lenore was  preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Tarlecky, and her son, Joseph T. Tarlecky.  

She is survived by her  son, Thomas Tarlecky, of Schuylkill Haven. Lenore's memory will  be cherished by her surviving grandchildren, Thomas Jr., Rachael, Denny, Samantha, Destrie, Sabryn, Korra, Joseph Jr., Ella, Ava J., along with 10 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her dear sister, Roseanne Hoinski of Hamburg.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing, which will be held from 10-11 AM at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown, followed by a funeral service at 11 AM.  Lenore will be laid to rest alongside her husband at the Brandonville Union Cemetery, immediately following the service.
