Larry 'Gunslinger' Gilbert, 67, of Ringtown, passed away Tuesday, January 11th, 2022 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pottsville.
Larry was born in Ringtown, on August 11, 1954, a son of the late Thelma (Singley) and Ralph Gilbert.
He was a 1972 graduate of the North Schuylkill high school, and graduated from the Schuylkill Business Institute, with a degree in computer programming and electronics.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Ringtown, and a longtime active member of the Flying Aces Motorcycle Club.
Thoughout his lifetime, Larry was a mechanic who enjoyed working on everything from sewing machines to cars, to his true passion, Harley motorcycles. He also was a talented artist and proprietor of Gunslinger Tattoos.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Gilbert; a sister Loretta Mix, and his nephew, Lee Gilbert, Jr.
Larry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Shirley (Motsko) Gilbert of Ringtown and by his daughter, Gretchen Gilbert, of Frackville.
He also is survived by a sister, Linda Gilbert, of Reading, and by his beloved dog, Abby.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a viewing from 10-11 AM on Wednesday, January 19th 2022 at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown. Graveside services will be held following the viewing at St. John's Memorial Park in Ringtown, with Rev. Craig Zimmerman officiating.
