Kerry Lee Rittenhouse

Kerry Lee Rittenhouse, aged 62, of Sugarloaf, peacefully passed away on October 17, 2023. He was born in Hazleton on November 4, 1960, the son of Carl H. Rittenhouse and Shelby (McAfee) Rittenhouse.

Kerry was a graduate of West Hazleton High School and went on to dedicated himself to his work as a journeyman press operator, with his most recent employment at Forbo Flooring Systems. Prior to that, he worked for over 25 years as a press operator and supervisor for the Bemis Corporation.

Beyond his work, Kerry was a man of diverse talents and interests. He had a strong passion for music and was a gifted organist who also played the saxophone.  Kerry was also an avid reader, and his love for literature was evident to those who knew him. He enjoyed hunting and time spent in the great outdoors.

Kerry was preceded in death by his father, Carl H. Rittenhouse. He is survived by his mother, Shelby Rittenhouse of Nuremberg, his sister, Kelly Treko of Sheppton, his niece, Sarah Feeko, and nephew, Eric Feeko, along with many other family members and close friends.

Kerry's departure leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him, but his memory and the impact he had on the lives of others will live on in their hearts.  Happy Birthday in Heaven Kerry.
