George Biros Obituary

George Biros, 60, of Sheppton, passed away Monday, May 3rd, 2021 at his residence.

Born in Hazleton, on January 5, 1961, he was a son of the late Jean (Laskowski) and John Biros.

George had previously worked for his fathers business, the former Biros Iron Works and then for A. Barletta and Sons in Hazleton.  He was lastly affiliated with Avenues in Pottsville.

George was an antique auto and truck enthusiast, and he enjoyed spending time at the family lake and listening to polka music.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Linda Biros and a brother Joseph Biros.

George is survived by his siblings, brother John Biros, and his wife Ann of Sheppton; sister Margaret, wife of John Reznik, of Oakmont, Hazle Township; brother James Biros; brother Michael Biros, and his wife Kimberly of Zion Grove and a step brother, Jan Biros and his wife Anna Birosova, of the Republic of Slovakia.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including his nephew Stephen Biros, who was his caregiver.

George will be laid to rest in St. Jospeh's Cemetery in Sheppton, following following private family services.
