Barbara Wright

Barbara Wright, of Zion Grove, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023, at the age of 90. She was born on November 25, 1932, in Ringtown, a daughter of Rupert and Daisy (Foose) Bartell. Barbara was raised in a close-knit family and shared her childhood with eight siblings, all of whom preceded her in death.

Barbara was a faithful member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Nuremburg, and she worked in the local garment industry thoughout her lifetime..

Throughout her life, Barbara experienced both joy and sorrow. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rupert and Daisy Bartell, her husbands Charles Troy and James Wright, and her companion Marvin VanBlargan. Additionally, she mourned the loss of her son, Charles Troy, and her daughter, Sharon Beibleheimer.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Kuzmitsky of Zion Grove, and Jane Nenstiel of Weston. Barbara was a loving grandmother to six grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to eleven great-grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, August 3rd, 2023, at the Nuremberg Cemetery.
