William 'Bucky' Sherman, 77, a life long resident of Zion Grove, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29th, 2023.

Bucky was born on November 25, 1947, a son of the late William and Emma (Shoup) Sherman. He was a graduate of the West Hazleton high school, and was retired, having been last employed as a long time welder for the former Pine Grove Homes.

Bucky enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and picking mushrooms. He was a member of the Shenandoah Fish and Game Club.

In addition to his parents, Bucky was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Sherman in 1995.

He is survived by two sons, Timothy and Bryan, both of Zion Grove, a granddaughter, Nicole Sherman, and two great grandchildren, James and Hunter. A sister, Judith (Judy) Herman of Quakertown also survives along with nieces and nephews.

A Graveside funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Zion Grove. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the cemtery prior to the service. The Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home is assisting Bucky's family during this time of need.
