Virginia Neiswender, 93, a former resident of the Brandonville and Ringtown area, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2024 in Shenandoah, where she had recently resided.

Virginia was born in Ringtown on October 31, 1930, a daughter of the late William and Blanche (Dresher) Zimmerman.  She worked in the local garment industry and was a member of the Ringtown Senior Citizens and St. John's Lutheran Church, where she was active in the ladies aid and a former member of church council.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Neiswender in 1993, a son, William Neiswender in 1983 and by her brothers, William, Robert, Thomas and Donald Zimmerman.  She is survived by a sister, Frances Zimmerman of North Wales, PA, along with nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, February 2nd, 2024 at St. John's Lutheran Church, West Main Street, Ringtown.  Everyone is asked to meet at the church for the 11 AM service.  Virginia will be laid to rest at the Brandovnille Union Cemetery, immediately following the service.
