Thomas Deebel, 83, of Ringtown, passed away on May 20, 2024, at Shenandoah Senior Living Community.

Born in Ringtown on January 24, 1941, he was the son of the late Marvin and Florence (Bley) Deebel.

After graduating salutatorian from his high school, Thomas went on to be a heavy equipment mechanic for several years, while still staying active in his community and personal life. Thomas was a member of the Ringtown Valley Hunting Club and the Ringtown Snowmobile Club and a lifelong member of the Ringtown Fire Company. Thomas was known for being able to fix anything, and more generously, would always be the first person to lend a hand to family, friends, and neighbors when someone needed something repaired. In his free time, you would find Thomas fishing, hunting, or farming. Thomas' legacy as a smart, kind, and helpful man is left to be cherished by his family and everyone who knew him.

Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years, JoAnn (Seroka) Deebel; son, Thomas E. Deebel, D.C. and wife Carol; daughter, Heather Mackay and husband Leo; grandchildren, Monica Guinn, Kathryn E. Deebel, Thomas Deebel Jr., Sarah B. Mackay, and Josiah Mackay; great granddaughter, Daisy Padilla; sisters, Rose Jablonski and husband Bill, Karen Everett and husband Glenn, and Phyllis Jordan; brother, Paul Deebel; his beloved dog Ava, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held June 1st at 11 A.M. at the St. Johns Church in Brandonville, with Reverend Craig Zimmerman officiating. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation from 10-11 A.M. Interment will immediately follow the service at Girard Manor Cemetery, Phinneyville.

Services have been entrusted to Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, Ringtown.
