Salvadore 'Sammy' Curreli, 97, of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully on December 10th, 2024.

Sammy was born in Shenandoah on October 18, 1927, a son of the late John B. and Antoinette (DeLuca) Curreli.  He was a lifelong resident of Shenandoah and was retired after a career as a heavy equipment operator in the local mining industry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Ann (Lebby) Curreli, brothers, Carmen Curreli and Mario C. Curreli, Sr., his daughter, Maria Curreli and a grandson, Robert "Bobby" Anuscavage.

The last member of his immediate family, Sammy is survived by his nephew and caregiver, Mario Curreli and his wife Kim of Ringtown.
