Ronald G. Malacusky, Sr., 72, of Zion Grove, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
Ron was born in New Jersey on September 7th, 1953, a son of the late Anthony Malacusky and Plyliss (Layton) Bosavage.
He worked as a lifelong self employed truck driver, and had an awesome sense of direction, being able to navigate to and from anywhere without any problems.
Ron enjoyed working on his trucks, as well as being in the outdoors hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Shenandoah Fish and Game Club, the East-End Fish and Game Club, as well as the Mandata Legion Post 504 American Legion. Above all, Ron loved being surrounded by his family.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by six brothers.
He is survived by his children, Ronald Malacusky and his fiancee, Mary Jo Pancheri of Catawissa; Jason Malacusky and his wife Cindy of Zion Grove; and Candice Malacusky of Tennessee.
Eight grandchildren also survive, Mykenzie, Myranda, Desiree, Seth, Christopher, Blake, Zoey and Aiyva, along with his companion of many years Mary Ann Seritsky, Mahanoy City.
He is also survived by two brothers, Tony Malacusky, Florida and Adam Malacusky of Dalmatia; along with four sisters, Bonnie Hannis, Shenandoah; Roseanne Yunevage, Sheppton, Alicia Kowker, Frackville and Toni Lynn Malacusky of Sunbury, along with many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, November 16th, 2025 from 1-3 PM at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown.
Ron will be laid to rest during private services at the Brandonville Union Cemetery.
