Richard K. Lutz, 87, formerly of Bernville, Berks County, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on December 8th, 2015.

He is survived by his former wives, Alberta (Freeman) Lutz and Catherine (Donton) Lutz. He is also survived by daughters: Beverly, wife of Joe Gallagher, Ringtown, with whom he resided with for a short time; Jean Haldeman, Pine Grove; Irene, wife of Harry Peiffer, Schuylkill Haven; Kathleen Mervak, South Carolina; and Carol, wife of John Goba, Cressona. He is also survived by sons: Leon and Ernest, both of Schuylkill Haven; and Robert of Pine Grove. A step-son, Kenneth Donton, also survives, as do 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, with another due next spring. A sister, Fern, of Shartlesville; nieces, nephews aunts, uncles and many cousins also survive.

He will be missed by his many friends and family.
