Phyllis M. Morgans, 73, of Delano, passed away Tuesday at Broad Mountain Manor Nursing Center, Frackville,
Born in Ringtown, Oct. 3, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Eva Shoup.
She last worked as a security officer in Hometown for the Intrepid Agency. She was also a former school bus driver for the Mahanoy Area School District.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril Morgans Sr.; a grandson, Donald; a brother, Robert.
Phyllis is survived by a daughter, Eva Morgans, Delano; three sons, Cyril Morgans Jr., Ringtown, Randy Rumbel, Kentucky, and Jerry Rumbel, New Ringgold; grandchildren, Cody, Sarah, Dannielle, Tony, Michael, Kyle, Bradley, Nicole and Sherry.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 W. Main St., Ringtown, with the Rev. Janet Kline officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hillside SPCA, P.O. Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
