Nelson F. Griesing, 81,  a longtime resident of Ringtown, currently living in Mahanoy City,  passed away Sunday, February 14th, 2021 while a guest at The Gardens at Orangeville, just outside of Bloomsburg.

Nelson was born in Nuremberg,  on February 9, 1940, a son of the late Mae (Fisher) and Merle  Griesing.

He was retired, having been employed at the former A&E Products and Yankee Plastics factory in Ringtown.

The last member of his immediate family, he is survived by his wife, Shirley (Pitts) Griesing of Mahanoy City, along with nieces and nephews.

Nelson will be laid to rest at a later date alongside his parents at the Nuremberg Cemetery.
