Nancy A. Rentschler, 57, of Oneida, passed away Thursday at home.
Born in Hazleton, Feb. 8, 1956, she was a daughter of Betty Bley Onuschak, Oneida, and the late John Onuschak.
A 1974 graduate of West Hazleton High School, she was employed for 20 years by the former Wolkey's Mini-Mart in Sheppton, where she was previously the manager.
Nancy enjoyed NASCAR and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John R., in 1958; and by her father, John, in 2009.
In addition to her mother, Betty, Nancy is survived by her husband, Tom Rentschler, Oneida; three sons, TJ Rentschler, Drums, Robert Rentschler and his wife, Josette, Hazleton, and John Rentschler, Oneida; two brothers, David Onuschak and his wife, Terri, Kentucky, and William Onuschak and his wife, Monica, Hazle Township; three grandchildren, Dustin, Jason and Jacob; nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 W. Main St., Ringtown. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church in Brandonville, with Pastor Jay Serafin conducting a funeral service. Nancy will be laid to rest following the funeral service at Phinneyville Cemetery.
