Obituary
Mary Catherine Schlauch, 23, of Zion Grove, passed away Sunday at her residence.
Born in Bloomsburg, Sept. 14, 1991, she was a daughter of Dennis and Maria Sincavage Schlauch, Zion Grove.
A graduate of Bloomsburg High School, Mary participated in field hockey, track, plays and chorus. She was a recent graduate of Bloomsburg University with a degree in psychology.
She was previously employed by Weis Markets, Bloomsburg.
Mary loved music and spent many hours painting and drawing. She loved to bake specialty designed cakes for her family and friends. Mary enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Salem, Mass. She loved Halloween, Harry Potter, photography, reading as well as shooting long bow.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles Sincavage, Retta Schlauch and Junior Schlauch.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are three brothers, Charles "Chopper" Schlauch and his wife, Stacy, Zion Grove, Eric Schlauch and his wife, Tera, Bloomsburg, and Michael Schlauch, Zion Grove; maternal grandmother, Camille Sincavage, Mahanoy City; aunt, Ilona Ellis and uncle, Charles Sincavage. She adored her niece, Charly Schlauch, and nephew, Avery Schlauch.
A private funeral service for Mary's family will be held at Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 W. Main St., Ringtown.
