Maria Curreli, 64, a lifelong resident of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, April 23, 2024 in Allentown.

Maria was born in Shenandoah on  July 15, 1959, a daughter of the late Dorothy (Lebby) Curreli and Salvadore "Sammy" Curreli of Shenandoah.

She was educated in local schools and was employed by Jeld Wen in Ringtown, and later by the Shenandoah Valley School District, first as a teachers aide, then retiring as a culinary assistant in the cafeteria.

Maria was preceded in death by her grandfather, Giovanni B. Curreli, grandmother Antoinette Curreli, uncle Carmen Curreli, uncle Mario C. Curreli, Sr., mother, Dorothy (Lebby) Curreli, husband Anthony "Bimbo" Anuscavage and her son, Robert "Bobby" Anuscavage.

Surviving is her father, Salvadore "Sammy" Curreli and her cousin Mario C. Curreli.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 11 AM at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown, with Rev. Craig Zimmerman officiating.  Relatives and friends are invited to a time of visitation from 9 AM until 11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
