Mabel A. Rarick, DeBary, Fla., passed away peacefully Thursday.

Born and raised in Zion Grove, she was a daughter of the late Edwin C. and Cora Singley Rarick.

Upon graduating from the former Ringtown High School, she started her career which spanned more than 40 years with the Federal Reserve Bank in New York City. Upon her retirement, she relocated to Florida.

In addition to her parents, Mabel was preceded in death by three sisters, Grace Getz, Elizabeth Neal and Marie Rarick; and brothers Paul, Emory, Frank, Samuel, Sterling and Earl.

She is survived by two sisters, Olive Hill, Hawaii, and Alma Gearhart, Ringtown; nieces and nephews.

Mabel will be laid to rest during private graveside services at Elan Memorial Park, Espy, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory can be made to Mount Zion Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 61, Zion Grove, PA 17985. Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, Ringtown, assisted Mabel's family during their time of need.
