Leo P. Prosick, 80, of Brandonville, passed away Tuesday while a resident at Shenandoah Senior Living Community.
Leo was born in Shenandoah, Oct. 21, 1935, the only son of the late Leon and Agnes Rhoads Prosick.
He was retired, having been employed as a printing press operator for Bemis Co., Hazleton.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Brandonville. He was also a member of the former Citizens Fire Company, Brandonville, East Union Township Senior Citizens, and Shenandoah Fish and Game Club. He was an avid gardener.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Fritz Prosick; children, Barbara, wife of Michael Cuff, Ringtown, and Leo P. Prosick Jr., Brandonville; three grandchildren, Michael, Ryan and Shana Cuff.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Brandonville, with Pastor Jay Serafin officiating, followed by interment in Brandonville Union Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are asked to be made to St. John's Lutheran Church-Brandonville, P.O. Box 261, Ringtown, PA 17967. Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, Ringtown, is assisting Leo's family during their time of need.
