Obituary
Joanne M. Davidson, 73, of Sheppton, passed away Sunday at her residence.
Born in Shenandoah, Aug. 27, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Ruth Hillibush and Joseph Shala.
She was a graduate of Mahanoy Township High School and was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church, Mahanoy City. She more recently attended St. James United Church of Christ, Sheppton.
A lifelong homemaker, Joanne enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband on 53 years, Leon Davidson. Joanne is also survived by two daughters, Lisa Davidson, wife of Ken Hruniuk, Sheppton, and Lori, wife of Jeffery Paisley, Sheppton; a son, Leon Davidson Jr. and his wife, Kimberly, Sheppton; a sister, Jean, wife of Marvin Frazer, Terra Haute, Ind.; four grandchildren, Michael, Amber, Austyn and Brandyn; nieces and nephews.
As per Joanne's wishes, private family services will be held and arrangements have been entrusted to Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 W. Main St., Ringtown.
