Jennifer L. Petrus, 44, of Frackville,  passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 12th, 2021 at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center in Allentown.

Jennifer was born in Hazleton, on March 11, 1977, a daughter of Lynn Cavello of Florida and Joseph Kovalesky of Ringtown.

Jennifer was a 1995 graduate of the North Schuylkill High School.  She then obtained her cosmetologist license and worked for and was the manager at the Master Cuts Hair Salon in the former Schuylkill Mall  prior to its closure, and then continued to work as a hair dresser until her passing.

She was fond of her pets, both cats and dogs and loved them dearly.

Jennifer is survived by her husband of 20 years, Phil Petrus, her parents, and a brother, Robert Kovalesky and his wife Jessica of Georgia.

She is survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, as well as her extended family of in-laws.

The Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home is assisiting Jennifers family by providing a private service followed with burial in St. Stephen's Cemetery in Shenandoah Heights.
