Gayle Gibbons, 62, a former resident of Ringtown, currently residing in Pottsville, passed away Wednesday, December 20th, 2017.

Gayle was born in Shenandoah, on April 8, 1955, a daughter of the late Mae (Petrey) and Raymond  Gibbons and attended the former Ringtown High School.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Pottsville and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Gayle spent her time doing crafts, decorating cakes, crocheting and also enjoyed singing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Gibbons.

Gayle is  survived by a sister, Nancy Gibbons, of Coal Township and a brother, Kenneth Gibbons, and his wife, Joan of Ringtown, along with a  nephew Kenneth, Jr., of Ringtown and a niece Jennifer, of Shenandoah and a great niece Jamie Lynn.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown,  at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 27th, 2017.  Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing from 9-11 AM Wednesday morning prior to the service.

Burial will take place in the  Brandonville Union Cemetery following the service.
