Florence E. Paskewicz, 81, a former resident of Shenanoah, passed away Tuesday, April 18th,2017.

Florence was born in Lansford, on January 14, 1936, a daughter of the late Mary (Bashago) and Joseph  Ogozalek.

Florence was employed in the local garment industry until retirement.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the trips to Canada.

Florence attended the  former Annunciation Church, and was a member of the Divine Mercy Parish in Shenandoah.   She was a long time cook for several local priests during their time spent in the Shenandoah Catholic parishes.

She was preceded in death by by her husband, Alex 'Herky' Paskewicz, and by brother and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Cyndi wife of Joe O'Brien, North Carolina; Sandee wife of Allen Fritz, Ringtown; and Donna wife of Frank Dibuo, Luzerne.  9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren survive as does her sister, Annie Ogozalek of Landsford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Divine Mercy Parish, West Cherry Street,Shenandoah, with Rev. Edward Zemanick officiating at 11 AM on Friday, April 21st.   Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Friday morning from 10-11 AM at the church prior to Mass.

Interment services will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date.
