Obituary
Edward C. Miller, 69, of Jerry's Road, Ringtown, passed away Tuesday.
Born in Shenandoah, April 30, 1945, he was a son of the late Mahlon and Jean Williams Miller.
He was a 1964 graduate of the former Ringtown High School and was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Ringtown.
Edward was a certified welder who last worked at Carpenter Technology, Reading. Prior to that, he worked as a miner, employed by New Jersey Zinc, and he also worked for Bethlehem Steel.
He was a fisherman and had a heart for all animals.
Edward is survived by two sisters, Gertrude, wife of Abe Moses, Ringtown, and Sandy, wife of Harold Wenrich, Ashland; nieces and nephews, Gene Wenrich, Carol Kratz, Wayne Wenrich, David Moses and Ivana Fogarty and their children.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 W. Main St., Ringtown. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 until the time of services Monday at the funeral home. Edward's family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory be made to the Ringtown Christmas Lighting Committee, Ringtown, PA 17967.
