Doris Longenberger, 90, of Zion Grove, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 21, 2024.

Doris was born in Zion Grove on March 4, 1933, a daughter of the late Ralph and Matilda (Lutz) Davis.

A lifelong homemaker, Doris enjoyed crocheting, gardening and mowing her lawn.  Doris was a member of Saint Peter's 'Hargers' Union Church of Christ, and was active helping at various functions.  She also enjoyed helping make the candy Easter eggs for the Davis Chapel fundraiser.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, William Longenberger, her son, Terry Longenberger, and by her siblings, Paul Davis and Mae Crouse.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Cindy, wife of David Cymbala and her special grandchildren, Alicia, Adam, Mike, Rachel, along with Kristie, TJ and Josh.  She is also survived by her special great grandson, Brexton, along with Laura, Sophia and Jack.

Doris will be laid to rest alongside her husband at the Davis Chapel Cemetery during private services, which are being provided by the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home in Ringtown.  You may leave an online condolence at www.ringtownfuneral.com
