Clara E. Clark, 83, of Phinneyville Road, Ringtown, passed away Monday while a guest at The Pavillion at St. Luke's Village, Hazleton.
Born in Shenandoah, March 22, 1931, she was a daughter of the late William and Edith Hasker Brocious.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Brandonville.
Clara last worked as a certified nursing assistant at the former Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center prior to retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clark; sisters, Alice Kropilak, Erma Brocious and Mary Young; and brothers, Howard and William Brocious.
Clara is survived by two daughters, Diane, wife of Robert Shumway, Sugar Run, and Claraann, wife of Ron Schultz, Schuylkill Haven; three sons, Robert Clark and his wife, Linda, Shenandoah, Ralph Clark, Phinneyville, and George Clark and his wife, Cynthia, Phinneyville; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 W. Main St., Ringtown. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9 to 11 a.m. before the service. Interment will take place in Girard Manor Cemetery, Phinneyville, after the service. Memorial donations in Clara's memory can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Brandonville.
