Carol A. Geleskie, 74, of Ringtown, passed away Friday at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street.
Born in Shenandoah, April 28, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Laura Morrell and Albert Lorah.
She was a graduate of the former Mahanoy City High School and a member of St. John's Church in Brandonville.
Carol was retired, having worked as a secretary for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, in 1995; a son, Andrew; a brother, William Lorah; and sisters, Barbara Lorah and Lorraine Lorah.
Carol is survived by two sisters, Grace Possesskey and Linda Lorah, and a brother, Ronald "Mose" Lorah, all of Ringtown; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 W. Main St., Ringtown, with the Rev. Jay Serafin officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
