Obituary
Carol A. Geleskie, 74, of Ringtown, passed away Friday at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street.
Born in Shenandoah, April 28, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Laura Morrell and Albert Lorah.
She was a graduate of the former Mahanoy City High School and a member of St. John's Church in Brandonville.
Carol was retired, having worked as a secretary for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, in 1995; a son, Andrew; a brother, William Lorah; and sisters, Barbara Lorah and Lorraine Lorah.
Carol is survived by two sisters, Grace Possesskey and Linda Lorah, and a brother, Ronald "Mose" Lorah, all of Ringtown; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 W. Main St., Ringtown, with the Rev. Jay Serafin officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. As per Carol's wishes, memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Hillside SPCA, Pottsville, PA 17901. More information and directions are available at www.ringtownfuneral.com.
