Brittany E. Zelinsky, 26, a former resident of Ringtown, passed away Thursday, January 11th, 2018, at the home of her grandparents in Mt. Carmel.

Brittany was born in Hazleton on July 24, 1991, a daughter of Gina Hart and Dean Zelinsky.

She was a graduate of the North Schuylkill High School, and loved being around her friends.

Brittany was a lung transplant recipient and was always brave, having a positive outlook during her 26 year struggle with lung disease.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Aadilyn, with whom now she is reunited with.

In addition to her parents and her step father Lenny Margaritondo, she is survived many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Her Maternal grandparents, Elaine and Robert Paskanik of Mt. Carmel and Sandy and Ronald Truhan of Zion Grove also survive, as does her fiancee, Derreck Forker.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM on Monday, January 15th at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 6 PM to 9 PM on Sunday evening and again on Monday morning from 10-11 AM prior to the service.
