Beatriz Haydee Mayorga, 74, of Shenandoah, passed away Saturday, December 21st, 2019 while a guest at the Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center.

Born in El Salvador,  on January 27, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Maria  Elizabeth Mayorga and Victoriano  Bautista.

Beatriz was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking and being surrounded by her family and loved ones. and enjoyed nature as well as reading the Bible.  Beatriz was a member of Puerta Al Cielo Church near Mahanoy City.

She  is survived by her husband of 57 years,  Benedicto Batres of Shenandoah, and by her daughter, Evelyn, wife of Jovanny Matos, of New York.

Beatriz is one of seven brothers and sisters, whom survive along with many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Service, which will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, December 28th, 2019 at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street in Ringtown.

A viewing will be held Friday evening from 5 - 8 PM and again on Saturday morning from 9 to 10 AM, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Beatriz will be laid to rest in the Annunciation Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights, following the funeral service.
