Anthony "Tony" Kasalavage Jr., 31, of West Main Street, Ringtown, passed away unexpectedly Saturday at his residence.

Tony was born in Pottsville, April 5, 1982, a son of Anthony and Virginia Svrcek Kasalavage, both of Pottsville.

A 2000 graduate of Pottsville Area High School, Tony was also a graduate and received a degree in informa tion technology from Penn State University in 2002.

He was a self-taught guitarist who loved music and was a member of the local band PAN.

Tony was employed in the IT Department for Jeld-Wen Co., Ringtown.

In addition to his parents, Virginia and Anthony Sr., he is survived by the love of his life, Jacqueline "Jackie" Weikel, Ringtown. He is also survived by his extended family of aunt, uncles, cousins and many close friends with whom he enjoyed spending time.

A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 W. Main St., Ringtown. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing, which will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life service in honor of Tony will be held at a later date. Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, Ringtown, is assisting Tony's family during their time of need.
