Anthony Forte, 84, of Hazleton, passed away early Sunday, September 17th, 2017 at his residence.

Anthony was born in Hazleton, on February 20, 1933, a son of the late Mildred (Rich) and Neal  Forte.

In the 1950's, he moved to and lived in Plainfield, NJ while working in New York City on Wall Street, at the investment banking firm of Lazards Freres and Company until his retirement, when he then returned to his hometown of Hazleton.

Locally, he was a member the of Queen of Heaven Parish at Our Lady of Grace Church in Hazleton.

The last member of his immediate family, in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his life partner, Joseph Drevnak and by brothers Genero Burke, Mauro and Neal.

He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date, which will be announced.
