Clare Burke Obituary

Clare I. Burke, 82 of Valrico Florida passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 and is being laid to rest in Ringtown, PA where her heart was most at home.

Clare was born in Washington D.C. on July 23, 1935 a daughter of the late  Irene (Moore) and Attny. Joseph W. P. Burke and shortly after moved to Ringtown PA. where she attended Ringtown School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband Philip. L. Grow.

She had two children while living in Ringtown, then the family moved to Island Grove Florida in 1960 where she had a third child.

As a homemaker living in the small rural town of Island Grove she provided her children with a strong foundation of family values for which they are most grateful.

In 1964 the family moved to South Carolina for 2 years, then returned to Florida (Largo).  During her employment with Pinellas County Water, her father passed and she moved to Port Salerno to help her mother.  She remained there until her mother passed in 1997 and then moved to Valrico, FL

Known to be a selfless person, she was always ready to help those in need. Clare was loved dearly by her grandchildren whom she interacted with in a fun and loving way.  She enjoyed using her computer and had been called "Net-Nana" because of her time spent on the internet.  Other interests were reading, cooking and dining out.

She is survived by:

Children:  Philip L. Grow, (Nancy) Brandon, FL,  Gail G. Davis (Mark) Safety Harbor, FL, Noel P. Grow (Marie) Plant City, FL

Grandchildren: William M. Grow, Drew F. Davis, Eric P. Grow, Kevin P. Davis, and Cody N. Grow
