Britt I miss you so much right now, the thought of you gone hurts but I'm at ease you are no longer suffering. You strolled through life as if you always were a winner, I'm really going to cherish all the memories we had together from toddler years till now. Until we see each other again I hope one day when it's my turn your there to greet me at the gates of heaven. Rest in peace fly high. Love always your sis/ constant friend Rachel.

Getting to be a part of Brittany's life was a privilege to anybody who had the pleasure of meeting her, but we had the honor of being even more than that. We gained the title of Uncle and Aunt. Although it wasn't the traditional way of receiving a title, Britt took on the role of being an Aunt to our children because Derreck had already been crowned as their uncle (for the younger ones anyway.) Her face would light up along with the kids full of excitement. There was an even closer bond formed between her and Harlee (or as referred to by Britt, her Princess.) I'm not sure what's harder. Is saying farewell to our beautiful Brittany the hardest part or was the harder part watching all who have grown to love or who were lucky enough to love her throughout her life as they fall apart at the mere thought of having to face tomorrow without her. Derreck, you are the strongest, most caring, loving, dedicated, and just amazing fiance. Not for one minute did you ever turn your back on Britt no matter how hard it was getting or how stubborn and difficult she was being. That's what a man who loves with all of his heart does. You did all that and more. Stay strong, Derr and don't you dare hesitate to reach out. To Gina, Dean, and the rest of Brittany's family, friends, and loved ones...I am so very sorry. No words or actions can ease this unbearable heartache, but how lucky are we to have gotten to be in her life?! Sure, she drove us all absolutely crazy sometimes, but would you really change that?! She is finally free of those invisible handcuffs that kept her from doing and being all that she wanted. Fly High My Beautiful Niece! You are no longer shackled to an oxygen tank and can dance and sore among the rest of those we have loved and lost. We will never stop loving you or forget about you for a second. Harlee is struggling, but she understands that you were tired and wanted to go be with your Angel baby. I love you! Please watch over Derreck. He has suffered way too much in his life along with Debbie. Keep a close eye on all the rest of us too. This is so terribly hard.
