Basic Types of Funeral Services Available

TRADITIONAL SERVICE - Best described as a typical funeral service, a viewing is held which is then followed by a funeral service. The viewing may be either several hous prior to the service, or held the night before the service at our facility. After the service is complete, a funeral procession is held to the gravesite, where a committal service takes place.

MEMORIAL SERVICE - This is the typical cremation service. After a death occurs, the cremation takes place and then the ashes are placed inside an urn. The urn is present at the funeral home or place of worship, and a service celebrating ones life takes place. This can be customized by adding calling hours prior to the service, and by interring the urn in a cemetery of ones choice after the service.

FUNERAL SERVICE FOLLOWED BY CREMATION - this is the same as a traditional funeral service, with the exception that instead of going to the gravesite, the body is transferred to the crematory after the funeral service. Once the cremation takes place, an internment service can be held at a cemetery, or the ashes can be returned to the family.

Once again, these are just basic scenerios to give you an idea of the services offered. Our experience and your thoughts and desires can be combined to make the service as personal as you and your family wishes it to be.
