ALLEN ENGLE SR.
Allen Engle, Sr., 53, of Nuremberg, passed away Wednesday at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center.
Born in Shenandoah on September 5, 1957, he was the son of the late Kathryn (Shoup) Engle who passed away in 1980, and Edward Engle who survives him along with his wife, Vonetta of Modena, PA.
Having worked as equipment operator in the mining industry, Allen enjoyed camping and riding his motorcycle in his spare time.
Allen is survived by his wife of 25 years, Barbara (Ambruch) Engle and their children, Kathryn Engle and Joan Engle both of Zion Grove, Allen, Jr., Robert and Edward all at home. Also surviving are five sisters, Clare Zimmerman, Kathy Lorah and Karen Lex all of Ringtown, Carol Engle of Hawley and Sally Judge of Nuremberg. Four brothers, Edward of Berwick, Tom of Pardeesville, Carl of North Carolina and James of Frackville. He is also survived by grandchildren Alexis, Emily, Pandora, Tyler and was awaiting the arrival of a granddaughter.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown at 4 PM on Sunday, March 6th. Relatives and friends are invited to call Sunday from 2-4 PM at the funeral home.
