
Catherine A. Brobst, 63, of 229 Mahanoy Street Nuremberg, passed away Tuesday morning at the Hazleton General Hospital.
Born in Bloomsburg on May 5, 1945, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Singley) Wolfe.
Catherine worked in the local garment industry and enjoyed sewing. She was also an avid book reader and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Nuremberg.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Ronald G. Brobst in 2004, and a brother, Walter.
Catherine is survived by four daughters and their families - Rhonda, wife of Joseph Lescowitch, Sr. of Weston and their children, Joseph Jr. and Jolene; Renee Brobst of Freeland and her children Paul, Toni and William Shistle; Racquel Brobst of Nuremberg; and Ronann, wife of Matthew Price, Sr., of Dallas, and their children, Matthew Jr., Carolyn, Connor and Mason.
Catherine is also survived by two brothers, Lance Wolfe and his wife Jeanie, of Stillwater and Barry Wolfe of Zion Grove. A brother in law, Gerald Brobst and his wife Debbie of Fern Glen, and a sister in-law, Ella Wolfe of Mainville survive along with nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at the Nuremberg Cemetery, at 1 PM on Friday, March 6th.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in memory of Catherine may be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Nuremberg, PA or either the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
