
Adolph Wolk, 97, a former resident of Oneida, passed away on Sunday, February 15th, at Mt. City Nursing Center in Hazleton where he was currently a guest.
Born in Oneida, PA on April 14, 1911, he was the son of the late John and Veronica (Fallot) Wolk.
After graduation from high school, he served in the U.S. Army. After World War II, he and his wife, the late Helen (Houser) Wolk had lived and worked in Newport, Deleware until he recently moved back to the Hazleton area.
In addition to his wife Helen who passed away in September of 2007, he was preceded in death by brothers Albert, John, Joseph and Michael and sisters, Rose Wolk and Ann Connors.
Adolph is survived by a sister, Josephine Saksa of California, along with nieces and nephews, who were also his caregivers. A Funeral Service will be held at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown, at 11 AM on Friday, February 20th, .
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday morning from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at the Old White Church Cemetery in Ringtown.
