ISABEL R. BREISCH
Isabel Breisch, 83, of Wolf Road, Ringtown, passed away Saturday, March 8th, at the Phoenixville Hospital.
Isabel was born in Ringtown, PA on April 3, 1924, the daughter of the late Edward and Emma (Jones) Shoup. She attended Conygham Township High School in Aristes, and was of the Lutheran Faith.
A homemaker, and she worked alongside her late husband on their family's farm in Ringtown. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Breisch in 1977as well as two stepsons, Byron, Jr. and Robert Breisch. Two brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death: Edward and Allen Shoup, Catherine Engle, Betty Petrachonis and Pearl Shoup.
Isabel is survived by her daughter, Ruth Jones of Collegeville, PA and a step son,Ted Breisch of Endicott, NY.
She is also survived by a granddaughter.
Three sisters, and a brother survive: Sara Shoup and Grace Kehley, both of Ringtown, Emma Knittle of Ginter, PA and Walter 'Wimpy" Shoup of Arlington, VA. Nieces and nephews also survive.
A Funeral Service will be held at at Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown, PA, at 11 AM on Saturday, March 15th.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Ringtown immediately following the service.
