
Anna Hostetter, 99, a former resident of Ringtown, passed away Monday morning at the Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center, where she had been a guest.
Born in Zion Grove, PA on February 11, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Mummey) Laudig.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Ringtown, along with the Ringtown Senior Citizens.
Anna worked in the garment industry early in life, then during World War II, she worked at the Middletown Air Depot and the Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot. She later retired from retail sales, prior to moving back to the Ringtown area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hostetter, and the last member of her immediate family, she was also preceded in death by two brothers: Torrance and Ray Laudig.
Surviving is a daughter, Betty George of Harrisburg, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown, at 11 AM on Thursday, February 14th, with Pastor Jay Serafin of St. John's Lutheran Church officiating.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday morning from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Private burial services will be held in the Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA.
