DOROTHY COOK
Dorothy Cook, 69, of 139 Breisch Road, Ringtown, passed away Friday, January 22nd, at St. Catherine's Medical Center, in Ft. Springs.
Dorothy was born in Shenandoah on January 23, 1940, the daughter of the late Charles and Laura (Jones) Faust.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Ringtown, and was last employed by the former Wenco window factory also in Ringtown.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Thomas P. Myro, Sr and more recently by Thomas M. Cook. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: twins Joseph and James, Claude, Paul, William and her twin sister Doris and her sister in-law Mary Faust.
Dorothy is survived by a son,Thomas P. Myro of Ringtown and a granddaughter Anthe. She is also survived by two sister in-laws, Lois Faust and Nellie Faust both of Ringtown. Nieces and nephews also survive.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown, at 8 PM on Thursday, January 28th with Pastor Jay Serafin officiating.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 6-8 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, Dot's family asks that memorial donations in her memory be made to either St. John's Lutheran Church in Ringtown or the Ringtown Area Library.
Interment will be at the familys convenience at a later date.
