
Eileen Mikita, 66, of 92 Brandonville Road, Ringtown, passed away Thursday, August 20th in Ringtown.
Eileen was born in Ringtown on March 25, 1943, the daughter of the late Norman and Myrtle Shoup.
Eileen was a graduate of the Ringtown High School, and was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Ringtown.
She and her husband owned and operated Al and Eileen's Bar and Restaurant in Ringtown for many years prior to their retirement. Eileen also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred "Al" Mikita in May of 2005, and a brother, William Shoup.
Eileen is survived by two daughters, Kelly, wife of Darrell Laudeman and Pamela Mikita, all of Ringtown. Eileen is also survived by a brother, Dale Shoup of Ann Arbor, MI 2 grandchildren survive, Tyler and Danielle Laudeman as do nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, North Center Street, Ringtown, at 10 AM on Monday, August 24th, with Rev. Richard Schware officiating.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing Sunday evening from 6-9 PM and again on Monday morning from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown.
Burial will take place at St. John's Cemetery, Ringtown, immediately following the Mass.
