Harry Lindenmuth
February 14, 1939 ~ June 1, 2017 (age 78) 78 Years OldHarry Lindenmuth, 78, of Shenandoah, passed away Thursday, June 1st, at his residence.
Visitation with Harry's Family will be held at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown, on Thursday evening, June 15th, 2017 from 6-8 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to come and share their memories with Harry's family.
Harry was born on February 14, 1939, a son of the late Anna (Oakstan) and Harold Lindenmuth.
After high school, Harry served in the United States Army, before returning to the local area.
"Oil Can Harry" worked at the former Purolator Products in Ringtown, and then later as a coal hauler and well-known scrap metal dealer in the local area.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, William and John Lindenmuth, and by a sister, Verna Gilroy.
Harry is survived by a son, Harry Lindenmuth, Jr., and a daughter, Bonnie Silva, both of Shenandoah.
He is also survived by three sisters, Helen Frye, Marie Hasker and Alice Pass and a brother, Charles Lindenmuth.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Amanda, Joshua, Jacob and Jenna; three great grandchildren, Zachery, Axel, and Zayden, and nieces and nephews.
