I was so sorry to hear that Dave passed away...he was much too young! We worked together for several years and I liked Dave and had a lot of respect for him. We had many talks about our jobs and his military service. He was a good man.

Dear Friends,
We have been family for so many years. I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. What a sweet man. I watched him growing up next door and have so many good memories of time spent with he and the family. Spent many hours chatting with David about life. I am shocked and saddened by the passing of Dave. Karen, please accept my deepest felt condolences.

I always look fondly on our days in Union Rain together, both on and off the stage, and consider it an honor to have been on stage with Dave for that time.

To a lifelong friend that we both knew in our younger years. We spent the night before our engagement at a Holiday party at the Jenkin's homestead!!! So it's bittersweet for us to hear of his passing. The fond memories we all had growing up too. We all looked up to Dave for some reason. He was just that special kinds of personality that you just couldn't help but love. He was a great friend. You always remember how a person makes you feel and well he always just made it fun to be around. Paul would tell me how Dave's band, The Midnight Asylum practiced in his Pop's garage!!! We will celebrate his wonderful life and keep his Memory Eternal. Love, Paul and Margaret Pelak

My sincerest heartfelt condolences and prayers for the Jenkins Family. I had the honor to work with Dave and he made every day a great one with his dry but funny personality. He was really funny every time he walked into the office...he'd throw paperwork on my desk and complain about his trip in one breath and laugh and joke the next minute because he always enjoyed giving me a hard time. He will be forever missed.

We played together as kids and as we got older, we formed a band together, an experience I look back on as the most memorable and precious of my youth. Dave was the core of that band, its heart and soul, and when he left for the Air Force, the band was no more because without him, it could never be the same. I will never forget his sly humor, his natural leadership, and yes, our band fights when he'd toss drum sticks and cymbals at my head and we'd end up wrestling around, knocking over our already banged-up equipment, then 10 minutes later we'd be back to work, acting like it never happened. That was Dave -- passionate, forgiving, and funny. I'll miss him terribly.
