Daniel A. Rhoads, 64, of Ferndale Road, Zion Grove, passed away Thursday at his residence.
Born in Shenandoah, April 10, 1952, he was a son of the late Alvin and Elaine Moyer Rhoads.
He worked as a truck driver, then later as the transportation manager for Rands trucking, working out of the Jeld-Wen window factory in Ringtown.
He is survived by his wife, the former Jean Osenbach-Drumheller Rhoads, Zion Grove; three daughters, Elaine Rhoads, Delaware, Lori, wife of Bob Mudri, North Carolina, and Sherrie, wife of Tom Bright, Auburn; sisters and brothers, Judith Maue, Joan Gibben, and AnnMarie McGrath, all of Hamburg, N.Y., Mary VanNote, Lackawanna, N.Y., Katharine McDonald, Cowlesville, N.Y., John Rhoads, Cleveland, Ohio, and David Rhoads, Lakeview, N.Y.; stepdaughter, Dawn, wife of Jeff Straka, Kansas; stepson and caregiver, Robert, and his wife, Kaycee Drumheller, Ringtown; grandchildren, Carter and Dylan Mudri, Grace and Ali Bright, Jake and Daphnie Straka and Isabella Drumheller; nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 W. Main St., Ringtown, with Pastor Chris Wollyung officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Daniel's family from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service. Private interment services will be held at the Mt.
