Catherine 'Cookie' Fetterman

Catherine 'Cookie' Fetterman, 76, a former resident of Ringtown, passed away on Tuesday, January 10th, 2017, while a guest at Providence Place in Pottsville

Cookie was born in Shenandoah, on March 23, 1940, a daughter of the late Mary (Ambrose)  and Ross  Fetterman.

After graduating from the former Ringtown High School in 1958, she moved to the Philadelphia area, where she worked as an accountant for several companies until retiring and returning back to Ringtown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Sherman.

Cookie is survived by four sisters, June, wife of  Joseph Kuzmitsky, of Brandonville; LaRue Amoratis, of Brandonville; Rita, wife of  Harold (Peany) Shoup, of Zion Grove and Pattie, wife of  Earl Teter, of Ringtown, along with a brother, Thomas, and his wife Carol Fetterman, of Ringtown.

A brother in-law, William 'Bucky' Sherman, of Zion Grove, also survives as do many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great great niece and nephew.

A Funeral Service will be held at the  Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown, at 11  AM on Saturday, January 14th.  Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Cookie's family from 10 AM until the time on the service Saturday morning at the funeral home.

Interment services will be held privately.
